Lunch: Bagel & Treats

A local bagel shop gives out a free dozen on your birthday. My sweetie had his birthday yesterday and spent some of his dozen on bagels for me. Here it is, topped with soy cheese and a little sandwich spread, with grapes and a Kinder egg on the side.

Lunch: Whole Wheat Sandwich

I am recovering from a fancy dinner out last night, so here is a simple lunch for today: soy cheese slices on whole wheat bread, baby carrots and the last of my strawberries.

Not shown: an applesauce cup and a snack container of grapes and pretzels which I left at school after not getting to them yesterday :-)

Snack: Tea and Cookies

Packed some strawberries and chocolate goldfish this afternoon to take to the coffee shop for an afternoon tea.

This two-compartment Sistema container is so handy for snacks, but it's starting to suffer from the same grossness as my Lock & Lock containers once did. It's really hard to clean underneath those little rubber seals, and no matter how hard I try, it gets icky. I am on the lookout for a stainless steel replacement.

Breakfast: Smoothie & Oatmeal

Here's a Monday breakfast on the go: a Healthy Planet smoothie and a packet of instant oatmeal. My usual go-to breakfast is plain oatmeal with some add-ins (I add boiling water when I get to school) but I had the smoothie from a weekend trip to the health food store and I had to make the calories work.

I am trying to replace this particular container with a Lunchbots Duo, but I keep backsliding because this one (from the popular Sistema line) is a great size and doesn't have gaps in the divider the way the Lunchbots do...0

Lunch: Amy's Burrito

Packed in my Easy Lunchbox, a frozen Amy's bean and rice burrito, a clementine, some cucumber stars and, in the Kinder egg, 10 chocolate goldfish.

After a few days of sloppiness, I am back on the counting! My Fitness Pal says this is 383 calories.
